TENNIS COURTS BEING REFINISHED AT RYE PARK
CPRD is currently in the process of refinishing the tennis courts at Rye Park at a cost of approximately $13,000. This project will not only beautify the tennis courts, but will also serve to drastically improve the safety and performance of the playing surface. In addition, a pickle ball court will be painted onto the existing basketball court which is located just west of the community center. Both projects should be concluded by Thursday, April 16th. If you’re a tennis or pickle ball enthusiast, stop by and try the new courts out!

CPRD MEN’S 3-ON-3 TOURNAMENT RESULTS
CPRD recently concluded the Men’s 3-On-3 Tournament on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008. The Good Fellas were awarded 1st Place in the tournament, with White River taking second. Congratulations to both teams for their competitive play!

CPRD BEGINNING BASEBALL / SOFTBALL SIGNUPS
CPRD will be taking registrations for Majors and Rookies baseball and softball. These programs are open to youth ages 7-9 (Rookies) and ages 10-12 (Majors). Registration forms are available at the CPRD Community Center. Forms have also been distributed to age appropriate students attending Colstrip Public Schools. Deadline for Majors and Rookies baseball / softball registration is Sunday, April 27th.

CPRD HOSTING BASEBALL / SOFTBALL SKILLS CAMPS
CPRD will be hosting a baseball / softball skills camp for youth intending on participating in the CPRD Majors or Rookies programs. Dates for the skills camps are tentatively set for April 21st (Softball) and 22nd (Baseball). Contact CPRD @ 748-3326 for further information.

CPRD COMMUNITY CENTER CLOSED MAY 17TH, 2008
CPRD will be closing the community center on Saturday, May 17th, 2008 in order to refinish the floor of the main gym. The closure is necessary due to the noxious fumes that are released as part of the refinishing process. The main gym will be closed on the May 16th and 18th as well.
