CPRD “SPEED FREAKS” COMPETE AT SIMPLOT GAMES
Five athletes represented the CPRD “Speed Freaks” running club at the Simplot
Games, the nation’s premier high school indoor track and field meet. The 32nd
Annual Simplot Games were held in Pocatello, Idaho and took place from February
18th-20th, 2010.
Elizabeth Brown competed in the 1600 meter run and placed 8th in her heat and
71st overall with a time of 6:10.
Myranda Plum also competed in the 1600 meter run. Myranda placed 1st in her heat
and 81st overall with a time of 6:18.
Kelsey Bailey competed in the 400 meter dash and placed 73rd overall with a
personal record of 68.7 seconds.
Tanya Cadwell competed in the 800 meter run. Tanya finished 7th in her heat and
34th overall with a time of 2:34.20.
Chase Robinson competed in the 800 meter run. Chase finished 6th in his heat and
placed 7th overall with a time of 1:59.74.
Congratulations to the CPRD “Speed Freaks” and to Coach Duane Cole for the
strong showing at the Simplot Games!
CPRD MELTDOWN UPDATE
CPRD is now in week 7 of the Meltdown program! Last week, the 136 Meltdown
participants lost a combined total of 84 lbs! 69 Meltdown participants exercised
at least 3 times per week and 57 participants exercised at least 5 times per
week. Keep up the great work!

2) 2-3 Utah Jazz Basketball opening games – Thursday, February 25th, 2010 – 5:00
PM – CPRD Main Gym
