CPRD JR. OLYMPICS SOCCER AND TENNIS RESULTS
CPRD recently hosted the 2008 Jr. Olympics local soccer and Rapid Rally tennis
competitions on April 16th and 17th. Result from the Jr. Olympic basketball
competition, which was hosted in February, are listed as well. Results from the
competitions are as follows:
Boys Basketball
Age 8-9 O’Shon Old Mouse with a score of 13
Age 10-11 Devin Stenulson with score of 27
Age 12-13 Adam Myers with a score of 11
Girls Basketball
Age 8-9 Amaya LaFranier with a score of 3
Age 10-11 Tyra Limpy with a score of 9
Boys Tennis
Age 8-9 Payton Allen with a score of 8
Girls Tennis
Age 8-9 was a three way tie:
Tanor Foote with a score of 6
Alicia Miller with a score of 6
Amaya LaFranier with a score of 6
Age 12-13 Shanna Adams with a score of 7
Boys
Soccer
Age 8-9 Clayton Currier with a time of 35.06 seconds
Girls Soccer
Age 8-9 Alicia Miller with a time of 42.19 seconds
These champions will advance to the Regional Competition Saturday June 21st in
Hardin. This is one of the Regional Competitions being held nationwide that will
determine those youngsters advancing to National Finals. Congratulations to
these young athletes!
CPRD POOL RENOVATION PROJECT COMPLETED
CPRD is proud to announce the completion of the pool renovation project. The
renovation, which involved the installation of a PVC liner, gutter extensions,
ladders and drain grates, was completed on Thursday, April 23rd, 2008. The
renovation will drastically improve the efficiency of the pool, which was
becoming a concern during the last two years of operation. The pool should be
ready for opening day in early June.
HERSHEY’S LOCAL TRACK AND FIELD MEET DATE CHANGE
CPRD will be hosting the Hershey’s local track and field meet at the Colstrip
High School track on Wednesday, May 14th, 2008. Sign-ups will begin at 5:30 PM
with events to begin at 6:00 PM. This meet will service the communities of
Colstrip, Lame Deer, Ashland, Birney, and Broadus. Participants that are unable
to attend the May 6th Hershey’s local meet at Forsyth may compete at the
Colstrip local meet. Contact Joshua at 748-3326 for more information.
