CPRD SUMMER SESSION REGISTRATION BEGINNING MAY 27TH, 2008
Registration for the CPRD’s upcoming Summer Session adult and youth programs
will begin on May 27th, 2008. Fitness classes will begin on June 2nd and Youth
Classes will begin on June 9th, 2008. This summer, CPRD will be offering 23
youth fitness and activity classes, 22 adult/senior fitness and activity
classes, and a host of special events. Timely registration is especially
important for the youth programs as there are enrollment limits for many
classes. Please keep in mind that there must be at least 6 individuals
registered in order for youth activities classes to be offered. Most classes are
free to members of CPRD and are also available to non-members at a minimal cost.

CPRD SWIMMING POOL TO OPEN JUNE 2ND, 2008
CPRD’ swimming pool, which has recently undergone an extensive renovation, will
be opening on time for the Summer Session beginning June 2nd, 2008. There is one
more phase of the renovation, deck resurfacing, yet to be finished. This phase
was very recently approved by CPRD’s Board of Commissioners during the
Wednesday, April 30th meeting. This final phase will begin on Wednesday, May 7th
and should be completed in about a week.
COLSTRIP RANGER BASEBALL OPENED SEASON MAY 4TH, 2008
The Colstrip Rangers American Legion Baseball team started the season off on
Sunday, May 4th at the Billings Big League event. Upcoming events for the
Rangers are:
1) Colstrip Rangers VS. Miles City Split Squad – May 14th
2) Colstrip Rangers @ Billings Big League – May 18th
3) Colstrip Rangers @ Miles City Split Squad – May 21st
4) Colstrip Rangers VS. Billings Big League – May 31st
COLSTRIP DAYS SCHEDULED FOR JUNE 27TH – 29TH, 2008
Colstrip Days, Colstrip’s annual community celebration, will be taking place on
June 27th, 28th, and 29th, 2008. Many events are planned for Colstrip Days,
including the Fun Run, Colstrip Days Softball Tournament, Colstrip Days Golf
Tournament, and the ever-popular Colstrip Days Parade. Bring your family and
enjoy the fun!
PONDEROSA BUTTE GOLF COURSE OFFERS SUMMER JUNIOR GOLF PROGRAM
Glen Godfrey, PGA Professional at Ponderosa Butte Golf Course in Colstrip, will
be offering a summer program for youth beginning Tuesday, June 10th. Lessons
will cost $20.00 per child, clubs furnished. Please contact Glen Godfrey at
