All Fitness Classes are FREE to members and $30 to Non-Members. Keep those extra pounds off with a great program of fitness when you work out with Tammy, Deann, Jodi, Stacey, Chelsea, Joey, and Tasha, our certified instructors. You will be treated as a member of a large family and they will attempt to help you work out your individual fitness needs. To begin, classes must have 6 registered by the end of free week and 4 regular participants to continue.

Power After Hours A class for those getting off from a stress filled day of work, come and release all your pent up energy and turn it into desired muscle. Instructor: Deann Bailey Location: Weight Room Time: 5:00-5:45 pm; M, W Lift A dedicated total body training that incorporates body weight training, resistance training using dumbbells, barbells, kettleballs, corework and balance using stabilizing muscles. If you know your way around the weight room, you like to sweat and you want to increase that lagging metabolism, them class is for you. Tammy is going to push you a little harder than you push yourself to help you reach your goals. Instructor: Tammy Robinson Location: Weight Room Time: 9:00-10:00 am; M, W, F 12:10-12:50 pm, M, W, F Power Up Your Fitness This class is for beginners to experienced lifters. The class offers the ability to work at your own level and accommodates to health issues. Instructor: Deann Bailey Location: Weight Room Time: 1:00-2:00 pm; T, TH Set For the person that needs to progress at a gradual level of intensity or is unfamiliar with the weight room. Develop and increase muscle tone and strength using safe, effective exercises. A variety of resistance equipment will be used. This class will show you the proper way to lift weights and help you burn calories at the same time. Instructor: Tammy Robinson Location: Weight Room Time: 10:00-11:00 am; T, TH Raise The Bar Take your strength training to the next level. This weight lifting circuit mixes in cardio bursts to get you a great workout before the day is done. This class requires no experience, join and kick your workout up a notch. Instructor: Stacey Martinez Location: Weight Room Time: 7:15-8:15 pm; M, W, Healthy Cooking Do you struggle with what to cook every night? Is your family resistant to "healthy" food? healthy Cooking Class can solve your problems. Not only is this food delicious, but also so much more nutritious than the prepackaged, fortified, and preserved food found on the shelves and in the freezer. Give your family the healthy food they need, but disguised... they will never know! Instructor: Chelsea LaRose Location: CPRD Kitchen Time: 11:00 - 12:00 pm, T Ripped If you are ready to unleash the power within, transform your body, mind and life, get ready for RIPPED. The one stop body shock. RIPPED isn't the average workout class. Using resistance, intervals, power, ply metrics and endurance, this call will get you results! Instructors: Tasha Miller, Joey Gillespie Location: Fitness Gym Time: 10:00 - 11:00 am M; 8:00 - 9:00 am W 6:30 - 7:00 pm TH Yoga Daily yoga practice can bring you from feeling tired and rundown, to feeling energized and rejuvenated. Take some time to lengthen the body and deep stretches, and clear the mind with peaceful relaxation. All levels are welcome, your mind and body will thank you. Known as "Meditation in Motion," Tai Chi connects breath to gentle movements to completely relax the mind and revitalize the body. Instructor: Chelsea LaRose Location: Fitness Room Time: 9:30 - 9:50 am; M, W Trekking Treadmill walk or jog through the valley, along the mountain trail, hike up the mountain top all without leaving the gym! Trek your way on the treadmill as Tammy takes you on an adventure. Group Cycle Classes Get ready to torch up to 500 calories per 40 minute class. Get a heart pounding, low impact workout without complicated moves while working in a group environment. Pedal with motivated instructors and music that keeps you pedaling. You'll have a blast while riding your way to a leaner and stronger body. Morning Circuit Get yourself out of bed and pump some iron! Working out early ensures your workout is done for the day, no matter what life throws at you. This circuit-style weight class throws in a variety of strength and cardio exercises to keep your body guessing. Drop pounds by reviving-up the muscular metabolic burn! Where have you been? Not only are workouts shorter, but also it increases caloric burn for about 48 hours after you are done working out! This class is short, sweet and intense, but open to all fitness levels because intensity is based off your own threshold. If you are ready to burn major calories and melt away fat (not to mention give your rear a boost), come and join HITT. If you feel yourself dragging during the day, exercise in the morning is a great way to boost your energy levels all day long. If you haven't tried a spin class, you are missing out on a great, no impart cardio session. Did I mention you burn around 500 calories in 45 minutes... Sign me up!! Demanding and effective exercises will challenge your body in ways you would not expect. Trust me, your abs and legs will thank you! Moves may be altered to fit any fitness level. Get some self defense skills! Or just mix up your routine with the balance, coordination and strength building moves of boxing or kickboxing while burning lots of calories. This high intensity class is a great full body workout, incorporating a broad range of punches, kicks, and athletic drills. Training like this will physically prepare you for whatever punches life throws your way! Intervals, resistance, endurance... you name it, we do it! It's fun and different every class will always have time for an AB workout and a great stretch when we're done! Don't let the weather keep you home, you'll always feel better after a great workout! Remember to drink plenty of water and eat a healthy diet and F.I.T.T. to a healthier you! Have to have 6 there for all classes. Instructor: Deann Bailey Location: CHS Pool Time: 10:15 - 10:45 am; W Saturday Workouts!!!! This session we are going to add a Saturday workout here and there just to keep you on your toes!!! January 7th, 2012 will be our first one! This one will be special because we are asking for donations to do this class and all proceeds will go to the Sydney Hedges Benefit Fund! We will have lots of instructors to do different workouts. Come to 1 or 2 classes or do them all!!! Challenge yourself and help a wonderful little girl!!! Join us on another Saturday for a "RIPPED MARATHON"!!! Portions of each session 1, 2, 3,4, & 5, all in a row!!! That will be a challenge for all of us!!!!! No date set yet, but we will let you know!!!!! |
