Fitness Classes
Feel Great ~ Reduce Stress ~ Meet Friends

All Fitness Classes are FREE to members.  Keep those extra pounds off with a great program of fitness when you work out with Tammy, Deann, Jodi, Stacey, Joey, and Tasha, our certified instructors.  You will be treated as a member of a large family and they will attempt to help you work out your individual fitness needs.  To begin, classes must have 6 registered by the end of free week and 4 regular participants to continue.

 

 

Step N Tone
    Aerobic Exercise is essential for a healthy lifestyle.  Enjoy this basic step class incorporated with light weight toning exercises.  Only 30 minutes to get your heart rate up and have some fun.

Vicious Cycle with a Twisted End
    30 cycling minutes geared for all levels, 15 minutes butt and gut, followed by 15 soothing and stretching yoga moments.

Bikini Bottom
    You'll be "shaping up" & "shipping out" with this class!  Using the Boot Camp format, be ready for whatever comes...  in the gym or outside!  A little of this and a little of that equals "No Square Pants Here."  Eat a balanced diet and get some extra cardio in and you'll be ship-shape in no time!.

Bikinis & Board Shorts
    Total body blast; burn calories, melt away the fat movin' n' sweatin'.  Multi joint moves to crank up the heat, increase your cardio health and sculpt the body... and oh ya-you will have a good time!.

Summer Fusion
    Is short, intense and designed to be unpredictable.  a class that has a little bit of everything and is the perfect protocol to interject something new and fun into any workout..

Evening Water Workout
    Mix it up!  We will be working in the shallow as well as the deep water.  Using the resistance of the water for an awesome strength and cardio workout!.

Adult Outdoor Adventure
    If you like the outdoors and welcome a challenge, gear up for an adventure!  Each month will be something different; June 22nd - a hiking trip in the Big Horns, July 20 - bike to Forsyth and August 20 - end our session with;  Kayaking, walking, mountain biking, volleyball and a potluck at castle Rock lake.  We will have a sign up sheet with times at the front desk the week before the adventure.  (Plans are subject to change and/or cancellation due to weather or lack of interest.)  for more information contact Tammy at 748-3326 ext. 121. 

100 day Burpee Challenge
    What the heck is the 100 day burpee challenge, you ask?  It is a personal goal for whoever may be crazy enough to take it on!
  Day 1 = 1 Burpee
  Day 2 = 2 Burpees
  Day 25 = 25 Burpees
  Day 100 = 100 Burpees
You get the picture!  When the days get harder, just break them up into smaller bits tha you can do.  Here is how to burpee:
1. Squat down, hands to the floor
2. Jump feet back
3. Push-up
4. Jump feet back to hands
5. Jump up
*challenge starts June 9  and ends September 16, 2010

Yoga
    Each and every time you practice yoga, you are getting a complete body workout.  yoga can help you get stronger and more flexible.  It can help you recover from and even avoid sports related injuries,  reduce stress, relieve back and neck pain and improve your general sense of well being.  Friday classes are a great way to end your week.  We will stretch a little deeper and relax a little longer.  Come on in and give it a try!  New participants are always welcome!

Chisel
    Sculpt-n-tone, increase muscle strength and endurance, build a faster metabolism by training in the weight room with barbells, dumbbells, kettle bells and medicine balls in this fun circuit style class!  All levels welcome.

Raise The Bar
    Is it time to "Raise the Bar" with your fitness goals?  We are adding short bursts of high intensity cardio exercise in between regular weight training sets to blast extra calories and melt away that stubborn body fat.  join us in the weight room!!  All levels welcome!

Hydrofit
    A water exercise class designed for all levels of physical fitness.  The water environment puts less stress on the body's joints while adding resistance to help improve your muscle tone while also getting the cardiovascular benefits.  So grab a friend, have some fun in the sun and get some results! *No swimming ability is required you will be wearing a wet vest; however participants must be comfortable in deep water.

Walk Smart
     Join us for a mid morning brisk walk.   Not a leisurely stroll but a 2-3+ mile trek that will incorporate lunges, squats and other leg strengthening work.  We will walk outside so dress appropriately and wear good walking shoes.  Enjoy cooling down and stretching in the sun..

Early Spin

Spin Bike Class Times
    Get ready to torch up to 500 calories per 40 minute class.  Get a heart pounding, low impact work out without complicated moves while working in a group environment.  Pedal with motivated instructors and music that keeps you pedaling.  You'll have a blast while riding your way to a leaner body  First class starts June 24th.

Walking for Our Health
    Walk your way to a healthy heart.  This is a great way to start a fitness program or to stay in shape.  The CPRD gym is available for walking.  This is an unsupervised class.  There will be NO instructor.

Castle Rock Challenge
July 24, 2010
    And now it's time for something completely different!!  come and take the challenge!! It's crazy!!  It's up, down, over, under, muddy, wet fun!  It's a 5k obstacle course challenge around castle Rock Lake.  all fitness levels welcome!  Must be 13 or older to participate.  Save his date and watch for more information to come!  A CPRD event sponsored by your local Prairie Chix.  $25 per person.

AB-Solutely!
    Fifteen minutes of intense abdominal work for core strength and back muscle development directly following the Step Aerobics class.  Learn how to do this work correctly to see and feel results.

Girl Power
    No boys allowed in this weight room!  Join your girlfriends and work out without being self conscious.  This weight room circuit will include cardio stations as well as weight stations.  See what strength and resistance training can do for you.  beginners welcome.

Early Circuit

Happy Hour
