CPRD KIDS AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM and BREAKFAST CLUB
The CPRD KIDS Afterschool program is designed to meet the needs of children of working parents. Qualified, caring staff and volunteers provide a safe, creative environment for children in kindergarten through the age of 12. The program is open between 3:30 PM and 6:00 PM each day the Colstrip Public Schools are in session. Bus transportation is provided to the program from Pine Butte Elementary at the end of each school day.
Each child receives a daily snack at the program and may receive help with his or her homework. Children may also participate in arts & crafts projects, small and large group activities, outdoor and indoor recreation time, computer time, video and board games and. Local field trips to the Colstrip Bicentennial Library, the Schoolhouse History & Art Center, the Colstrip High School swimming pool and other community places are scheduled regularly. The children enrolled in the KIDS program are encouraged to take part in additional CPRD youth programs such as Tumbling classes, Youth Soccer, Utah Jazz Basketball, Youth Circuit Training and Spring Softball or Baseball. Transportation to and from any CPRD class or activity, which takes place during the KIDS program hours, will be provided at no additional charge. Separate registration fees for these additional CPRD Youth activities may be required.
Registration Information
The cost to enroll a child in the KIDS program is $35 per child per session for
the first 2 children in a family. Each additional child is $15 per child per
session. There is an $80 maximum for immediate family members only.
Snack cards may be purchased in $5 and $10 increments at any time during the
program year.
Registration forms and payment must be completed for your child to attend the
program. Registration and payment may be done at the Community Center or the
program site.

Breakfast Club

Looking for a safe place for your child to be at before school in the morning?
Bring them to the Breakfast Club! The Breakfast Club is open at 6:30 a.m. every
morning school is in session. Registration may be made at CPRD or at the
Breakfast Club site. Breakfast is available on site through your school lunch
program. Bus transportation to school is provided. While at the program,
children may receive help with homework, spend time playing games or participate
in other fun, supervised activities.
