Self Improvement

Nutrition Counseling
   Private nutritional counseling is not offered at CPRD!!  Whether you are seeking healthier eating habits, losing or maintaining weight or maximizing your training in the gym, nutritional counseling will help you reach your goals.  By appointment only!
Cost $20 per session, minimum of 3 sessions required (this ensures you will NOT be alone on the journey to healthier eating habits.)

Healthy Heart Cardio Room
     Come workout in our Healthy Heart Room!  We now have Treadmills, 3 Eliptical Runners, 3 Recumbent Bikes, 3 Stair Masters, Versa Climber, Concept II Rowing Machine and a Precore Eliptical.  When the cold weather forces you inside you still have many ways to stay fit!  Reservations available for treadmills.
 No Children Under 8 Are Allowed, 8-17 Years Must Have Legal Guardian Signed Waiver, 8-10 Years Must Be With Guardian

Weight Room
     Our weight room has the necessary equipment for an excellent weight training program.  Bring your unused muscles alive by pumping new blood into your veins through different weight lifting exercises.
     Weight equipment:  Olympic weights and dumbbells, 2 free standing squat racks and a Smith squat rack, Nautalis leg extension, hamstring curl, abduction/adduction machine and peck deck/chest press machine, MedX hipsled, leg press, Cybex multi-gym, sit-up rack, incline and decline bench and multiple benches.
 No Children Under 10 Allowed, 10-12 Years Must Be With Legal Guardian

The weight room is open during regular building hours except for the following scheduled class times:
Morning Classes: M, W, F 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
T, TH 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.
Noon Hour: M, W, F 12:10 - 12:50 p.m.
Afternoon Hours: M, W 4:30-5:15 p.m.; T, TH 1:30-2:30 p.m.
Thursday only: 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Evening Hours: M, W 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Minors (age 13-17) are required to complete a weight room orientation and test with Tammy.  Come see her after school till 5:00 p.m. or by appointment.

Fitness Appraisals
     Whether jogging, swimming, moving weights or doing calisthenics, a self-disciplined person can improve his/her fitness.  Through fitness testing conducted in a semiprivate atmosphere you can help to determine a program designed with "YOU" in mind.  the testing includes a step test for assessing cardiovascular fitness, a body fat composition test and tests for assessing flexibility, muscular strength and endurance.  The program we'll set up for you will be based on your test results, your conditioning and health goals, your activity interests and current time constraints.  We encourage a minimum of 2 personal training sessions if you are new to fitness.  Set up an appointment today!  Weight room orientation, instruction and guidelines for proper use is also available through the CPRD fitness staff.
