Kids In Motion This class offers a variety of activities for the Child 3-5 years of age. Skill acquisition, cooperative, musical and creative development are just some of the facets of this well rounded program. Class limited to 24 Ages: 3-5 Instructors: Deann Bailey, Tasha Mill, Lelslie Hull Time: 10:05 - 10:50 am, TH Location: CPRD Gym Utah Jazz Basketball Second and Third grade program. children learn the skills of basketball along with sportsmanship and cooperation. The Utah Jazz provide jerseys. Registration will be January 9- January 23, 2012 Children will receive registration forms at school or you can download a registration form here on the website. Cost: $15 to members $20 to non-members Youth Sport Specific Exercise Want to get in shape for that next sporting event you have planned or want some specific instruction? Come to these classes! They will focus on getting you ready for your next event by working on your strength, speed agility and everything in between. Remember, you don't have to be working on getting in shape for a sport, you can just want to get healthier and this class will be for you. Cardio A variety of spinning, quick circuits and heart room challenges, will get your body, heart and lungs ready for any sport you have coming up. You will have fun getting in shape while working out with friends. Ages: 10 and up Instructor: Deann Bailey Time: 4:00 - 4:30 pm M, W 2:00 - 2:30 pm W Location: Fitness Gym Weight Room These strength training exercises will be multi join challenging exercises that will get you ready muscularly for any event you have in mind. Whether it's for every day living or something more challenging, you will have fun pumping up while socializing with your friends. Teenie Tumblers Join your little one and have some interaction as well as fun! We will work with you (parent, grandparent and guardian) in teaching your child the basic tumbling and motor skills to help with coordination, balance and imagination. All children must be accompanied by 1 adult. January 4 - March 15 Ages: 20 months - 2 years through 12/30/11 Instructor: Tasha Miller & Sami Kope Location: CPRD Gym Ti me: 11:00-11:30 am, T Tot Tumbling Tot tumbling is designed for student's ages 3 to 5 that are already 3 years old before partaking in the class. This class is designed to develop closed motor skills and social skills as well as creative and basic tumbling movements for the tots which will help coordination and imagination. Class limit 15. January 4 - March 15 Ages: 3-5 Instructor: Tasha Miller & Sami Koep Location: Fitness Gym Ti me: 10:30-11:15 am, TH Pre-Tumbling The Pre-Tumbling is the class that all tumblers ages 6 and up start with, this class is designed to strengthen their basic skills, time will also be spent on the mini tramp and the low beam. Tumblers will be moved up by the instructors as they are ready. January 4 - March 15 Ages: 6-12 Instructor: Deann Bailey & Tasha Miller & Sami Kope Location: Fitness Gym Ti me: 3:00-3:30 pm, W Tumbling I Will build on the skills the tumbler has learned in Pre-Tumbling, as well as technique and increase the level of tumbling difficulty. Time will be spent on the tramp and beams, size of beam will be chosen by the tumbler. January 4 - March 15 Ages: will be put into class by instructor Instructor: Deann Bailey & Tasha Miller & Sami Kope Location: Fitness Gym Ti me: 3:00-3:30 pm, W Tumbling II Is a class that builds on the skills and technique that the tumbler has received in Tumbling I. The level of difficulty becomes greater and the time the tumblers are expected to work by themselves is more. The class works off the larges beam and mini tramp, as well as the horse.
